Hi. I have an article about Hoover washing machine error 8 but it's quite old now, so I can't guarantee it means the same thing still.

Does not make sense- number on the pictures are actually popping on and off one at a time and moving left to right. There is no letter.

Hello Rai. Yes, error codes normally just display statically, though it's always possible they just designed it to do that in order to attract more attention, and it could still be in error code. But without being sure if it is definitely an error code, and if so, the exact meaning of the error code, there's nothing really you could do other than call out an engineer. If you are a keen DIYer you could always have a quick look at the motor and see if it is anything to do with the error code 8 on my article.
