enamresu
hello, I've got a hairline crack in my washing machines tub and was wondering if it would be possible to use a heat gun of some sort to melt the plastic together. the crack is about 3cm long and is dripping about three cups of water per cycle. Thanks.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted May 29, 2007 Root Admin Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 Hello. In the past I've used a soldering iron to weld small cracks in plastic outer tubs. I wouldn't recommend using a heat gun, but the soldering iron was perfect. Need a repair or spare parts?
