sharedknowledge
Hello there! I own a IWME 27 washing machine by Indesit. I have the S/N if necessary. Attached pictures of the problem + video: https://youtu.be/ChZOoD2yWMo Issues started appearing when the machine was loaded with probably too many bedsheets. I wonder if the cracking was caused by this. Thank you sk Edited June 14, 2021 by sharedknowledge added video
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted June 16, 2021 Root Admin Report Share Posted June 16, 2021 Hi. I would say that's a write-off. It can only be caused if either something gets inside and gets dragged around the back of the drum cutting into the back of the outer drum, or when the drum and/or bearings have excessive play due to wear or a fault, and allow the back of the revolving inner drum to cut into it. sharedknowledge
Thank you Andy While the Plastic Aid was able to solve the main leak, there were so many little ones that it made to write-it-off. I bought a Bosch washing machine, it'll arrive in the next couple of days. I was very pleased to find out about PlasticAid - great tool! take care Whitegoodshelp (Andy)
