patbyrne
Hi, I have recently bought a Hoover H-Wash 300 lite washing machine, I did all the required installation instructions, removed the 4 bolts holding the drum, levelled the feet but the machine still hops about violently when it is in spin mode, it is moving across the floor, any suggestions on how to stop this? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted April 2, 2021 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 2, 2021 Hi. That normally happens if the transit packaging hasn’t been removed. If the drum is locked then it can’t bounce up and down on the suspension and all movement is converted to side to side movement. If you are sure the transit packaging has been removed properly is the washing machine in a tiled floor which would likely cause the washer to move around on spin? Or did you use any lubricant on the feet to help push it in place? That too would cause it to slide around especially on a slippery floor surface. Need a repair or spare parts? patbyrne
Hi Andy, Yes I removed all the screws holding the drum steady before I did anything else, the machine is stood on a piece of 1/2" plywood. It is only when it is in the pre spin mode it starts to rock then when it goes in to full spin it is still noisy but doesn't jump around as much. Has me baffled Pat
