David T
Hi, my washing machine has the rubber seal twisted. I checked and the motor belt had slipped off so I secured back but after doing another wash the rubber seal twisted off again. Do you think it is worth to look at a replacement as my washing machine is 7 years old..
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted November 12, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted November 12, 2020 Hello David. The door seal usually gets twisted badly like that when the suspension has gone. If the belt was come off as well it sounds as if something serious might have occurred. When you tried it again did it sound normal? How quickly did the motor come back off? If you take off the back panel and the lid the main outer drum should be held centrally inside the cabinet. Check that no top springs have come off and check each of the suspension legs. Need a repair or spare parts?
