maryam Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 So I was moving the washing machine and this part just came flying off. I'm not actually sure whether it came from the machine but I would really really appreciate it if anyone could tell me what it is. Just in case it's important. It's cylindrical with a typical hexagonal pattern kind of like a basic football. Thanks ahead of time.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted November 10, 2020 Root Admin Posted November 10, 2020 It could be part of the transit packaging. Need a repair or spare parts? maryam Posted November 10, 2020 Author Posted November 10, 2020 Thanks for replying! I don't think it's part of the transit packaging we got the machine over a year ago we had to move it to fill in some holes behind it. When we were trying to get it back in it fell. I've tried finding out what it is but still no luck. Again thanks.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted November 10, 2020 Root Admin Posted November 10, 2020 Hi. I don’t know of any parts that can just fall off. It’s unlikely to be a part from the washing machine. maryam Posted November 10, 2020 Author Posted November 10, 2020 Thanks Andy I was fairly skeptical of whether it belongs to the machine. I'll keep it aside in case but I'm sure you're right.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted November 11, 2020 Root Admin Posted November 11, 2020 To be honest it still looks like the kind of thing they fit inside to stop the tub from moving about during transit. There are usually three of them, and that one looks the right size to fit behind the main outer tub and the casing. If it isn't then I don't know what it is. Need a repair or spare parts?
