blinky3i
Not having much luck lately, acquired the above washing machine and the thing wont fill, the unit has a triple inlet and the valves serve the door jet (working) the pre wash part of the drawer (working) and the main powder part and the drum (not working) I eventually get an ie error which is a water inlet eeror Everything else works the drum is sound and it drains okay. I therefore deduce that the inlet valve is cream crackered and buy a new one, only it's doing exactly the same as before..bugger! Is this likely a control board problem? The damn thing works when it gets enough water in it eventually but this is by only the softener jet and door jet getting the levels up in the machine, this will complete a cycle until approx 9 mins and then error out again. Spin and drain cycles work fine Any wisdom appreciated
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 17, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 17, 2020 With filling errors the first thing is to double check that there is an adequate water supply going to the washing machine by disconnecting the fill hose and turning the water on whilst pointing it into a bucket. If that's ok and the valves are ok it has to be an issue with the valves not getting power or having a wiring fault somewhere. I would not gamble on fitting a new pcb. My article here covers only the basics but if you go through it carefully you will at least know you've covered them all washing machine not taking in water Need a repair or spare parts?
