Chris Kirkman
Hi, can anyone help with a banging noise that I have on a Bosch Avantixx 7, WAE24367GB/34. This is not happening all the time but is most noticable during a wash/rinse when the drum is rotating and slightly unbalanced. The noise sounds like something hitting the drum and is very similar to the noise you would get if the machine was empty apart from a plastic washing liquid ball bouncing around in the rotating drum. It seems like it is banging once on each drum revolution. Turning the drum by hand it feels quite smooth with no unusual sounds. There is virtually no play when lifting the drum or moving side to side. I've had the top and back cover off but cannot see anything obvious. I'm convinced it's something connected with the drum as doesn't sound at all like it's anything knocking on the tub or hitting outer casing. Looking inside drum with a lamp shining through holes and turning it around, I cannot see any loose objects between the drum and tub though cannot rule that out. Having looked through the help page for noises, I wonder if it is possible that the spider could be cracked or loose, can't see anything else there that might apply. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Chris Edited August 11, 2020 by Chris Kirkman
