Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted May 6, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted May 6, 2020 Hello Grahams. It looks like you've covered most of the main causes of noisy washing machines - especially a very loud noise. Unfortunately I can't guess at anything because you haven't described the noise (although it's difficult to describe noises accurately). The only thing I can suggest is to painstakingly go through all of the possible causes in my two articles on the subject staring here - Washing Machine is noisy Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted May 6, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted May 6, 2020 Hello. If it's drum bearings it should be obvious if you spin the drum by hand with the belt taken off. It should rumble. I would advise against trying to replace drum bearings. Too big a job, too many potential complications such as finding drum shaft or spider damaged and bearings seized in drum and won't come out - plus most modern washing machines only have complete drums available with bearings already fitted at great expense. You'd have to put your model into a spares site to see if they are available. Need a repair or spare parts?
