Barrieii
My Bosch varioperfect serie 4 blew the rcd while on cycle (at least I think it was that what blew it) and now although the machine will turn back on and has not since blown the electric, all it does is shoot a small amount of water into the drum and then completely refuse to do anything after that. It wont do anything until I have drained it and used the manual door open and then will only get to the same stage as before when reattempting to start the cycle. No error codes are showing. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 11, 2020 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 11, 2020 It may have a fault on the motor. It's common for some faults to trip the RCD and then when reset the washing machine has a fault but no longer trips the RCD. Unfortunately you need a specialist meter to troubleshoot this kind of fault because it's often caused by an insulation breakdown and electricity leaking to earth (Tripping or Fusing Electrics or RCD). The fault could be on the motor, but it could be in the main PCB or even something in the PCB has been damaged by the motor although the RCD should have tripped fast enough to hopefully prevent that. However, even a chaffed wire could account for this fault. Need a repair or spare parts?
