|As the water runs into the machine it continues straight out from a hose at the bottom left, next to the drain filter.

We have temporarily blocked the hose and now it works well.

What is the cause of this "fault"

Hi. It’s an emergency drain hose for if the washer gets stuck full of water. It should have a bing at the end or push onto a plastic stopper close by.

Thanks. will check where the bing/bung has got to. As I said we have plugged it with a cork and it now works ok.
