sandran Posted January 14, 2007 Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 have taken delivery of a miele prestige plus washer from john lewis .it is fantastic so far,the display panel is great as it tells me how long each programme takes also you can alter programmes once started and skip stages in the programme sequence.just one question there is approx 3 tablespoons of water left inside the rubber drum seal when the washer has finished is this ok? I think this is OK, they this is water that is present from testing in the factory. As far as I am aware, most washing machines are tested. How much water is left depends on the design of the door seal and I've seen some some poorly designed washing machines which left half a mug full of water in the bottom. There are usually some small drain holes at the bottom of the door seal for it to eventually drain out. Some people prefer to wipe the door seal out after use.
