Hoover New Wave Error Code E1 - Instruction Manual Please?

Recommended Posts

I have a Hoover New Wave WA 1400 and I need the Hoover instruction Manual. My Hoover has started to display error codes E1 with all LED's flashing.

Curious, is a made up name that I use to re-post questions I answered in my original Washerhelp forum (before I closed it to new questions). The reason I've transferred them to this new forum is to make them easier to find, more useful, and to add more relevant information and related links - as well as to host them on a much better forum. You can get information on how to get a Hoover instruction book on the main Washerhelp site ( Washing machine instruction books and user manuals ). Error code E1 (On a Hoover New Wave) means, "machine has exceeded a check time for fill, heat or empty".

As with many washing machine error codes, this one covers more than one possible cause and can be next to useless at times. You need to observe the washing machine carefully to see exactly when it aborts to the error code to have an idea which one it is. Check if it's filling with hot and cold water OK and if it's draining the water at full speed.

I covered this error code in more detail here - Error Codes E1 And E2 For Hoover New Wave Washing Machine
