Stevet
Wonder if you could help please I have looked through troubleshooting but cannot find an answer which matches my problem. The lights and individual LED's on the display flash frantically with no discernible error code and the machine will not run. I can resolve this by closing the door very, very firmly but more force is gradually being needed. Am I correct in suspecting the door interlock? If so could you point me in the direction of a good supplier and fitting instructions? Many, many thanks
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted August 31, 2018 Root Admin Report Share Posted August 31, 2018 Hello. If pressing the door in gets the washing machine working then yes it sounds like a door lock fault. Just make sure nothing is preventing the door from closing properly such as a damaged door latch or the door seal slightly peeled away on the door frame. Try spraying some WD40 in the door lock and on the door catch. I have the largest stocks of washing machine spare parts available on my affiliate links all around the forum - Ransom Spares if you want to buy appliance spare parts. Need a repair or spare parts?
