podders
Hello all Purchased the model above (washer dryer) yesterday from our local retailer for €600. Transported securely in the upright position and carefully connected up. We were blown away by just how quiet this model is on a wash but then came the spin! The whole washer literally moved across the floor, denting the water tank as it went and only being held in place by the water pipe & electric cable. Even ripped up the laminate flooring as it went into the office! Tried reducing the spin from 1400 to 800 and exactly the same problem arises. The machine is bang on level (checked with spirit level) and is on a concrete floor. All rubber feet are down and level too. Tried wedging between the water tank and wall and still it escapes. Also tried putting rug and floor mesh (to keep rug in place) but to no avail. Any ideas as I'm expecting the retailer to express total surprise when we call up tomorrow....? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted June 3, 2018 Root Admin Report Share Posted June 3, 2018 It sounds like the transit packaging hasn’t been removed. If so the suspension will be jammed and the washing machine will go crazy on spin. Need a repair or spare parts?
