Mel
Thank you for your reply, I tried to send you a video of what my machine sounds like, but the file was too big, so I tried to send you a video from Youtube, but I couldn't send that either. If you are able the video on you tube is called Miele W1 Washing machine and its posted by niceguy235uk1 . My 14 month old Miele WKG 120 sounds exactly like that. I hope you can listen to it and tell me what that noise is. That noise though is what the engineers have said to me is the suspension springs. The suspension springs got replaced in January 2017 and all was good, then in April 2017 it started to get noisy again, the springs were not replaced just lubricated, it helped a bit but now its noisy again. Please can you help. From Mel
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted October 17, 2017 Root Admin Report Share Posted October 17, 2017 Hello Mel. You could have posted a link to the video. I've just had a look. It has loads of comments on it saying it's the springs so it looks like it's a recurring problem. Sounds unusual for a Miele washing machine. I can confirm that it definitely should not make that noise. A Miele washing machine should be quieter than any other washing machine around. Do not accept any engineer saying it is normal or acceptable. Need a repair or spare parts? Mel
Hi, the engineer has been, he replaced the 2 back suspension springs, which I was happy with as he went through it with me and demonstated that is was the back two, he also put a protective sheath over the springs. I also got the impression that there has been a fault with some of the suspension springs. Thank you for replying to my messages and I think your site is very good. I have been reading some good tips on your site. Whitegoodshelp (Andy)
