CaptainHaZ
Morning all, apologies if posted in the wrong place. I have a Hoover Dynamic Next 7kg washer, model number DXC4C47B1 I think. We had some odd smells coming from our washing so I checked the filter at the bottom left and it was full of stagnant water, nothing else. I empited it and replaced the cap, ran another wash, and it was immediately full again. I took the waste pipe off and it is emptying properly so I can't see why the filter would keep filling. Anybody have any ideas on something else I can try to resolve?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 14, 2017 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 14, 2017 Hello. The filter will always be full of water, but it shouldn't have more than a mug or so of water inside. The pump just can't eject that last bit of water. If the washer is used regularly this water is constantly replaced. If there's more than a large mug full of water inside maybe it's not pumping out properly due to a partial blockage somewhere.
