Zanussi stopped and now trips.

Hi,

My Aquacycle just gave up in the middle of a wash.

It was making pretty horrible noises, then stopped and tripped the electrics.

When I turn it on, it trips again.

When I emptied its was obviously overloaded.

Time for a new one?

If it trips the electric you can't really work out what is fusing it unless you have a specialist insulation test meter so you would need an engineer or to replace it. More information here - Washing Machine Tripping or Fusing Electrics

Hi Stinky, have you got a fault code showing?  Does the machine go into a fast spin?
