willie washer
I have the indesit washing machine. when it reaches SPIN there is a terrible mechanical racket from it, also water appears to be leaking from the back of the drum and dripping onto the motor as the motor is turning the drum. I have taken the back / and top cover off but I cannot see anything obvious or hanging off. I am wondering if the fault is within the drum sealed unit??? Can anyone suggest anything?? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted February 6, 2017 Root Admin Report Share Posted February 6, 2017 It's common for coins left in pockets to crack or punch holes in the plastic outer tubs. Check the inner drum for signs (dints) and check all of the outer drum for cracks or holes. Water could be running from high up. If water is brown it could be coming from the drum bearing seal. It sounds serious. Need a repair or spare parts? Book a Repair | Buy appliance spares (Cheapest prices guaranteed) Warning: Read this before attempting any diy repairs.
