Kuju2
I have an Electrolux EWD1214 washer/dryer. The drum seems rotate ok and will then sudeenly only do quarter of half a turn anti clockwise and no clockwise turn. It will then move on in the program slightly and be ok again sometimes the program will run through perfectly ok. I have called an engineer out because my landlord is responsible for the washer. However, if there is nothing wrong, I will get charged a callout of £65 plus VAT. I don't want to fork out if there's nothing wrong. Glad of advice, does it sound as if there is a fault with the machine?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 26, 2017 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 26, 2017 Presumably you've noticed this is a new behaviour and it didn't do it before. In such case there is clearly something wrong. It sounds like a potential faulty connection somewhere or a fault on the motor. Make sure you video the fault if it is intermittent in case it doesn't do it when the engineer comes. If it does it every time though that's not so much of a concern.
