Ste Fish
Hi there, I was hoping someone could help....I recently ran my washing machine on a hot wash (90 degree) along with a detergent to get rid of a bad smell in the drum. When next using the machine, it cycled through the program without the drum turning. I've opened it up and checked the following: Checked the belt - okay Tested the motor with the following readings: Between brushes 4ohms Tacho 65ohms Field windings 0.96 ohms 0.99 ohms 1.75 ohms The field winding resistance seems pretty low to me, but I can't find any information on this motor. I've also had a look at the pcb in the bottom of the machine, to see if there are any dry joints (due to running on a hot cycle), but can't see anything that sticks out. I'm not sure where else to look now, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ste
