pensyl65000
Hi, I have had my washing machine just under a year (2 days out from guarantee ending) and yesterday I went to the machine and saw rubber bits all over the washing and seal. A hole has appeared in the seal (see picture). I can't see any leaks but surely this cannot be good. A 20p was in the wash when the stuff came out. I thinking this could be culprit? Indesit said if accidental damage there will be a charge so am thinking not to call out and get someone in to put in a new seal, or a patch to repair. I am based in Nottingham. If anyone can help me find a solution I would be very grateful. Thanks, Sarah
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted November 16, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted November 16, 2015 Are you sure that's not the draining hole in the bottom of most washing machine door seals? If it's bang on the 6 O'clock position and there's no leak then it must be. A hole that size where it shouldn't be would result in a flood unless it was quite high up. Need a repair or spare parts? pensyl65000
must be that. I think I must have noticed it and the rubber bits at the same time. Thanks a lot for your help. Whitegoodshelp (Andy)
