Wps
Im a property maintenance engineer and ive been asked to attend a report of a IWME127 failing to complete its cycle. When a wash is selected it will wash but fails to move on to spin and drain But it will spin and drain when selected independently. Ive not yet been to the appliance, but want to go in fully armed. Can I also put this machine in test mode? ? Any help is greatly received. I am technically inclined. Regards TIA
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted October 23, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted October 23, 2015 Hello, in theory it should time out with an error if something is wrong. However, Indesit washing machines are one of the brands that have an anomaly where if the heater goes open circuit during wash it will stick and not produce an error code. Test the heater with a meter and check all connections related to it. Wps 1 Need a repair or spare parts? Wps
Update on the above Customer failed to tell me, that about the same time as washer started going wrong, he had his boiler replaced. They also altered the waste, and had raised the waste pipe above the level of the washer outlet. Every time it emptied, the waste water would flow back into the machine. Giving the false reading. Plus ever time they put water down the sink, it filled the washer. Quality installation! !! Thanks again for your help Whitegoodshelp (Andy)
