Emmah
Hello, Today after 3 washes my washing is coming out of a wash with black track marks on it. I have run special machine clean program with soda crystals. I have also cleared the filter out (at the bottom of machine). I am now stuck for ideas. The machine is 3/4 years old and unusable. I have also wiped around the rubber seal. I read somewhere it could be the bearings but it's not an old machine?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted October 21, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted October 21, 2015 Unfortunately it's not uncommon for drum bearings to go on 3 year old washing machines these days. If it was the bearings though I'd expect it to be rumbling on spin. Any chance of uploading a photo? (click More Reply Options) Emmah 1 Need a repair or spare parts? Emmah
Thank you yes it did start to make a noise during spin. The repairman came out and found an old sock lodged behind the drum! Not sure how it got there but the machine is now fine! Im guessing this is where the black was coming from, the bearings were fine.
