panagath
I just moved to a new house that has a Hotpoint 7kg washing machine. Like this onehttp://www.hotpoint.co.uk/product-details/-/details/washing_machines/BUILT_IN_BHWMD_742/F078614 (no the builtin)I put a pair of sheets in one of the strong programs , 60 degrees for whites. Initially I didn't notice it, but then I put a white jacket at the same program and the sheets and the jacket came out with a light blue color. At the sheets it wasn't that noticeable at the begining, but now it is. The jacket has definitely taken a light blue color. How is it possible that the washing machine colors cloths without having any other blue garment inside? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 22, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 22, 2015 Only thing I can think of is the previous owners washed something, or dyed something, or there's something stuck in the machine leaking it. First thing to do is put the machine on a few 90 degree boil washes with normal detergent but no laundry in to see if you can clear it. Need a repair or spare parts?
