ponophobic
Hi, my machine has started suffering from excessive foaming. I've read the two previous forum threads and this article and can't seem to resolve the issue. I've cleaned the filter and drawer, run a rinse and maintenance cycle. The problem has only started occurring in the last week on three washes using the same detergent as I've been using for some time. Two of the washes were with the same sports gear I've been washing in there for the last year, so loading hasn't changed. The problem appears to be that foam is building up in the front of the machine on the door and not being removed at the same time as the foam in the drum. Then when it rinses and spins it's just whipping up more foam again, leaving some very foamy washing at the end. Any suggestions as to why this may be happening and how to prevent it would be most welcome. Cheers.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 18, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 18, 2015 Can't think of much that isn't covered in my article and the comments other than to ask how much of a load is in there (is it large or quite small) and which wash cycle are you using? Is there much foam when it's washing? Need a repair or spare parts? Book a Repair | Buy appliance spares (Cheapest prices guaranteed) Warning: Read this before attempting any diy repairs.
