roger
I recently changed the drain pump as the machine stopped working due to the fact it was unable to drain the water, there seemed to be a slight smell of burning, after checking the filter on the pump it was blocked with some material/cloth, this would have stopped the pump from spinning and I believe burned it out hence the smell. Now after replacing the pump (and it works fine) its left with an error code 4e, ive checked all the relevant fixes,"faulty inlet valve, blocked inlet filter and so on" but it seems that, whichever wash cycle you choose it only allows water into the rinse section of the drawer, so I wonder if the burning smell was possibly the PCB shorting due to the jammed pump. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 14, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 14, 2015 If there is a water fill error after moving and working on the machine the first thing to check is the fill hoses for kinks, the taps for being not turned on properly or even faulty (ie turn off and back on but the valve inside didn't turn back on due to being jammed) Need a repair or spare parts?
