tonytony2015
Please advise: There's a horrible noise. It only occurs pre spin when the pump is draining water, I have checked for blockages in the drain pipe and also emptied the lint tray.
edhorwood
did you expose the pump when checking for blockages? sounds like something is trapped in it or it's broke.
tonytony2015
No I did not I just checked the pipe. Assuming the pump is broke, is it a costly fix?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted July 15, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted July 15, 2015 Sounds like there's something inside the machine. It could be inside the outer drum or in the sump hose leading to the pump. It sounds like it occasionally gets sucked into the pump and tossed out again. Check inside the sump hose and pump first.
