Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 7, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 7, 2015 Hi, this is covered in my fault finding guide here - washing machine drum not turning - from your description it sounds like the belt has come off, which could be non-serious, but it could also be very serious if the drum has collapsed or bearings gone. This article looks at causes of belt coming off washing machine Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 8, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 8, 2015 You should never turn a washing machine upside down, lay it down on its front or back to get access underneath. Water can get onto parts or inside the pressure switch if turned upside down. Do you mean ProActive washing machine? I've never heard of them but to be honest they are probably not too repairable. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 8, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 8, 2015 Yes it looks like one of the cheap brands badged up for retailers to sell cheap but with no real aftersales support and a nightmare when they go wrong. Beko are also budget machines but they are at least very common and spares and repairs should be easier. Need a repair or spare parts?
