Judderman
I have a video to demonstrate. Easier than trying to describe the problem, but in my very limited knowledge of washing machines, to me it sounds like a relay clicking? I can't tell! It goes in to the main cycle and washes my clothes, but the clicking means it takes long to pull water in to the machine! Anyone familiar with his? I'm trying to work out if getting a new one vs getting this fixed.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 5, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 5, 2015 Some low insulation, or earth faults can cause weird behaviour. Judderman
I haven't tried it in another socket - so I will try that when I get home and report back! Thanks, Judderman

Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 6, 2015 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 6, 2015 OK. There could still be a low insulation or earth fault on the machine itself though, I don't think there's anything you can check yourself with this fault. Please let us know if you get to the bottom of it though. Need a repair or spare parts? glotechrepairs
Hi Judderman This problem sounds like the switch in the water tank. Little bit of background to explain how the machine draws water in to help you understand: The water goes from your main supply through the inlet hose, through a water tank (it's a plastic piece with lots of u-turns in it somewhat similar to the design of a grill element). At the end of this is a float with a switch which tells the machine when enough water has gone in so the valve shuts off any more water. This then goes through the dispenser drawer and then through to the drum (taking any softner, conditioner with it, etc). From your video it sounds like this switch is faulty causing it to click in and out. The flashing error is because the machine as a result is struggling to get a good flow of water to it.
