Luke190480
Hi I am having issues with my washing machine when trying to select a wash type using the programme selector. When turning the selector to the desired wash type you don't get the selected wash, sometimes it the one before or the one after etc etc. Does anyone have any ideas, if so is this a fix I can attempt myself? Any help appreciated.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 29, 2014 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 29, 2014 It depends on what system is used for selecting. If it's a control knob with a potentiometer type switch behind you might be able to take the knob off and spray some switch cleaner stuff into it in case it has a bit of dirt or poor contact inside. If it's a digital thing then maybe not. If you can work out how to get the knob off and clean and make sure everything looks ok it may be worth trying. Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 30, 2014 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 Knobs usually just push fit on but if not control panel may need removing.
