Sidlaw09
Hi, I have a Hoover OPH 716 DF- Problem, when we turn the programme selector the digital display jumps all over the place, it settles on the programme above or below the one we want, desperation makes us tap the area around the selector where eventually it settles on the chosen programme, is this a new display? (Quoted £100-ish) or is there an easy fix for this? Best Regards.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 21, 2014 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 21, 2014 Strange fault. Are you able to get the right programme by deliberately choosing the one above or below what you want or is it way too random? Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted January 23, 2014 Root Admin Report Share Posted January 23, 2014 It sounds likely to be a fault on the control display pcb or the selector dial not properly activating the display somehow. Can't really suggest anything to try Need a repair or spare parts? Book a Repair | Buy appliance spares (Cheapest prices guaranteed) Warning: Read this before attempting any diy repairs.
