paddymac
This machine although old has hardly been used and was working fine. The drum does not move during any cycle, I have cleared the filter at the bottom kick plate. I have checked the black hose on the bottom for blockages. I have removed the top and checked for bad connections from the control block I have checked that the motor cables are not lose. The belt is intact and I can manually turn the drum I don't know if the problem is the motor or the switch block or something else. The machine fills and empties and blows hot air. The switch/Dial does not turn automatically as it should, when I manually turn it slightly it starts the next phase of the cycle but without the drum moving. I don't know if the dial wont turn because the drum has not turned. What could cause this?
paddymac
also just unscrewed the white bottle with a black hose from the bottom rear of the drum, blew in it and could hear the click on and off
