ericycle
Hi! I would be so grateful for any kind of help with this issue. Our machine, which is about 2 years old, started leaking today. I opened it up and immediately saw a small piece of the door seal gasket was torn off. I will attach an image. My main question is can this be patched (even if it won't be a perfect patch), by either gluing something to the gasket or to the door itself? Thanks so much for any help you could offer. P.S. What could have caused this?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted October 5, 2013 Root Admin Report Share Posted October 5, 2013 You can't patch it, you'll have to have it replaced. Even a hair or bit of undissolved detergent on the door seal can cause it to leak. It can be caused if a towel or other bit of laundry gets trapped between the door glass and door seal and gets pulled hard on spin.
