Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 23, 2013 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 23, 2013 Does it do the exact same if you try to run it with the door open? Sounds like maybe it can't detect the door is closed for some reason. Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 23, 2013 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 23, 2013 What I'm getting at is if it does the same when the door is open maybe when the door is closed it isn't triggering the door interlock so the machine won't start because it thinks the door is still open. If it was OK before you changed the door interlock it has to be the main suspect. Check the interlock is on properly, wired correctly and that the door is closing properly and door catch latching into the interlock. Need a repair or spare parts? Anthmur
Ok after reading your replay I check the connection and the wires and all seem good, so I decided to ask my friend who has the same make and model as my washing machine if I could pinch his internal lock as his machine is working as you could guess he laughed but let me use it and I still get the same flashing lights . So I put my internal lock on to his machine and it worked fine . So I decided to take off the internal lock and try a program on my machine ( I know this sounds a bit bad ) but my washer told me that the door wasn't closed properly and I didn't get the program start and program finish lights blinking as before now I'm really confused . Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 24, 2013 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 24, 2013 That's a good friend Your logic is good, at least it shows the door interlock, the door, or its catch are not at fault, which has advanced things on. It's all about process of elimination. Unfortunately Bush is a none-make of washing machine which means they don't actually make them, they get someone else to make them and put the Bush name on. As such I have no technical information for them. It could be anything. Need a repair or spare parts?
