Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted April 15, 2013 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 15, 2013 The clothes should be cold when finished because they've just been through 3 or 4 rinses in totally cold water (should washing come out warm or cold?). Check this article out in case it helps not heating water Need a repair or spare parts? Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted April 16, 2013 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 Washer dryers commonly have failures of the stats, but although they can go open circuit for no apparent reason, usually they do so because of overheating, which can be caused by various other faults including the dryer fan not working. There will be some small stats on top of the silver paper covered dryer section which would normally be closed circuit. If one has gone open circuit it will stop the dyer's heater from working. You'd need to test with a continuity test meter. It's also possible the fault has nothing to do with the dryer stats though, could be a faulty dryer heater, faulty connection etc. Need a repair or spare parts?
