Hi

My Bosch Exccel 1600 has just malfunctioned after 7 years of perfect service.

The drum does not rotate and it's unable to pump out any water.

When the machine is on there''s a noise which sounds like a bags of stones being mixed around.

I haven't been able to pop the back off yet.

Just wondering if anyone's had anything similar?

Is it a broken belt or maybe a problem with the motor?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Balfourroadman

The first thing I would do is look at why it isn't emptying the water, it could have something in the pump. Check this out - Washing machine won't empty water (stuck full of water)
