Joliv1202
I have an Indesit IWC 6165, the machine won't start on any wash cycle. When you power it on all the lights light up then the start light flashes slowly. This continues until you press the start button then the wash cycle chosen light comes on and after about 5 seconds the door locked light starts flashing. The door is not locked and can be opened even though the red light is flashing. Any ideas? I have powered it down for about 15 minutes and retried it. Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted September 24, 2012 Root Admin Report Share Posted September 24, 2012 The flashing light may be reporting an error code - Washing machine stops with lights flashing - If you can count the number of flashes before a pause and the cycle continues it's an error code. If the flashing is constant then it's not an error code. Hotpoint and Indesit washing machines can go dead, with just lights showing for a number of reasons (without producing an error code). One of which is an open circuit motor but if it's not giving an error code you need to get an engineer to look at it. Need a repair or spare parts?
