Door seal replacement

Hi! I recently moved in a new house, and the seal on the washing machine was really moldy. I tried cleaning it but then resorted to getting a new one. Having someone do it is really expensive, so i bought the seal and replaced it myself. The wm model is indesit WIXL163UK by the way. Problem is, when I try to close the door, the bottom drags under the seal, and it takes some force to close it. It seems like the seal is too thick, but the item is correct, so I must have made a mistake in replacing the seal. I don't want to start the machine for fear I've done something wrong. Does anyone have any idea what I could've done wrong? I hope I've been clear enough. Th…

indesit IWDC6125 - mistaken purchase?

Hello, so glad I came across this forum but I'm concerned it may be a bit late. Just took delivery of this washer drier and was taken aback because it took an absolute age to wash clothes and made quite a bit of noise. Plus the drier hadn't dried the clothes after what seemed like two hours and it got very hot on the outside and I couldn't interrupt the cycle and then I read that if I turned it off suddenly it would be dangerous . It seems itll only cope with one wash a day which doesn't seem very good as I have a backlog. Do I have any rights for a refund because it seems so poor? In addition they sold me a warranty repair plan but it costs half the value of…

We had an Indesit moon for about 10 years now. It did not get a lot of hard use only used the weekends. It was not overloaded. I would like to warn anyone on these machines on that ours nearly set on fire. It was used a couple of times the day before and was all fine. Loaded it up the next day and when returned to take clothes out after, it was showing no lights on the dial, but there was steam and smoke coming over the top of the machine. I immediately switched of at the plug but and opened the door after a few minutes. All the cloths ofc were ruined the heat coming from it was immense, I could feel the heat though our stair case which the machine was placed under. …

I've had an Indesit IWC61455 for 2 years and there's a button I haven't tried yet, because I'm not quite clear about it. The instruction booklet says this 'Eco Time' function button will adjust a program/cycle to do a quicker wash (for lightly soiled cottons/synthetics). (So far, so good). It also says it's for a "reduced load". But by how much? (Trial-and-error doesn't appeal, especially with the long-distance travel needed from here to replace any clothes!). Not all the programs that the Eco Time function may be used with share the same maximum load. I can't find the answer anywhere in the booklet (though I have to say it's still a great improvement on the instr…
