junos Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Hi, I was hoping someone could guide me with their expertise. We have a Hoover Top Loader washing machine since 2006, HNT 5146. Recently, we did a wash and the water stopped draining. Did a bit of research, and as recommended, cleaned the pump which had linen and coins, so I thought it solved the problem, tried to do the wash, but same thing again, will not drain and I have red lights blinking. Is the repair going to be worth while or should I get a new one? Any recommended repair company in SW London? If not repairable, because our washer can only be located under the staircase, it has to be a top loader, if so, is Whirlpool a better make? and should I get a extended warranty this time? Many thanks.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted February 27, 2012 Root Admin Posted February 27, 2012 I haven't ever done much with top loaders, they were fairly rare in my areas. There should be a repairer in SW London on my repairs page Need a repair or spare parts? Book a Repair | Spares4Appliances WARNING: Read this before attempting any diy repairs.
