Err 6 on most Haier washing machines apparently means - "motor speed error, it may not be properly connected or damaged"

Like many error code explanations it's not overly helpful to the general public. I would either get an engineer or consider replacing it depending on how old it is, these are generally cheaper budget machines not renowned for reliability or longevity.
