Hoover Wont Take Conditioner Away

Hi,

We have a Hoover Special Edition HSE 236 washing machine and for some reason it will not dispense conditioner from the middle compartment of the drawer. We have cleaned out the drawer even the syphon arrangement in the soft rinse comp and still no joy. There are two small hoses from the solonoid valves to the inlets of the dispenser, could the solonoids be the problem. Water only seems to enter the left hand compartment, I assume water gets to the right hand compartment but no water at all enters the middle section where the soft rinse is. It is a cold water fill only. Please help. Thanks

Hello Peter. As cold water is still getting into the washing machine but not the fabric conditioner compartment the fault must be caused by the fabric conditioner compartment solenoid not being energised, or being energised but failing to work because of a fault in the solenoid or a connection fault somewhere, or the washing machine is aborting before it reaches the rinse where the solenoid (valve) is energised.
