Hi all !!!

I have a Hoover-Otsein mod.  NEXT 3650T/1-37 When I run a washing program, whatever it is, 90% of the time I get the error E03. I checked the drain pump and hoses and are all OK. The other 10% ends normally. The small pressure switch tube has no water inside.
Any help will be appreciated.

If the error code E3 refers to not draining water, but the pump is definitely pumping out OK, then it could be the pressure system wrongly reporting that the machine is full of water when it isn't. This can be caused by blockages in the pressure system. There shouldn't be water inside the pressure system hose - only air.

What happens is that gunge insde the small pressure system bottle at the bottom of the thin tube can get gunged up, which prevents water getting inside. This subsequently prevents the water from forcing air up to the pressure switch.

This article explains how the pressure system in washing machine works

Usually it is a pump blockage BUT e03 can actually be a wash heater that has gone to earth but does not take out the house trip.

Get the machine to go wrong. Then reset the programme on spin / drain, if it then pumps out and spins as usual and E03 then crops up next time you use the machine change the wash heater based on your model number AND the 8 numbers beginning with 31 as read off the sticky label. DO NOT fit any old heater as Hoover and Candy have a deep rubber heater boss whereas most others have a short one, mess up and that wrong heater vibrates out of the tank with disasterous moist results with 3 plastic ducks floating in a utility room/kitchen!!!
