Hi, the emergency drain hose has retracted back into my beko washing machine - the cap is off it - my question is can I still use it while I figure out how to retrieve it or will it flood the kitchen ?

Hi. If the cap is off, it will flood out of the hose if water is put into the washing machine. You might have to remove the plastic kick strip to retrieve it. It should come off easily. Maybe a couple of screws, or often just gently levering it away with a flat bladed screwdriver from the top.

There are various ways that the kick strip should come off but it should be easy to work out how to do it. The kickstrip is the plastic surround at the bottom of the front of the washing machine.
