Earth connection to motor - Indesit Innex BWE-71452-W-UK-N

Checking the drain pipe for blockage and noticed this earth isn't connected to its terminal. The machines only a couple of months old and hasn't been worked on. Should this be connected?

Hi. Yes. It should be connected here. Make sure it is firmly connected.

OK, thanks for the advice pal, just out of interest would the machine work whilst it is disconnected?

Yes. The earth wires only affect electrical safety.
