kanton
I'm looking to buy a new dryer washing machine and there are some dryer/washers with heatpump out there. These are quite expensive so I'm curious if it's worth the money?
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp (Andy) Posted April 22 Root Admin Report Share Posted April 22 Hi. We’ve had two. But I think we would probably buy a normal one next time. My wife hates them because they take so long to dry. The point of them is that they hardly use any electricity - but with the consequence of taking twice as long. They can take over 4 hours to dry towels. Having said that, ours is in a cold garage which isn’t ideal as they don’t work effectively in cold area. I would say if cost is highly important then consider one but if they are a few hundred pounds more expensive to buy it’s going to take years to start saving money although these days it’s a lot quicker to recoup money due to the high cost of electricity. Ideally, read what Which? have to say about them kanton 1 Need a repair or spare parts?
