I fitted a new rubber door seal (bellows, gasket) and ditched the old mouldy one, it's not an exact replica but the store page said my machine model was supported. The seal fit ok and when I span the drum there was no contact noise or resistance from the seal. After a couple of test washes nothing unusual was noted until towards the very end when the machine spins and drains there is a grazing noise and the seal seems to have expanded under the heat maybe, and now touches the drum on a small portion of the right side. So it's happening once all the water has left the drum and a lack of lubrication is there to ease any slight contact. A few bits of rubber debris is visible like when you use a pencil rubber on paper.

Just wondering if maybe it's not too unusual for a first time use for the rubber seal to ease into it's space?

Model: Indesit IWSD 61251 ECO

The image below is from google, but it's exactly like how it looks in my machine which seems to be normal

Hi. If it’s not too bad it may just rub away a small fraction and then stop. It shouldn’t catch but if it’s not a genuine Indesit spare part it may just not fit quite as well.
