Lamona HJA8511 - making noise

I put this on the wrong programme and pressed the start button down for a few seconds as it specifies.  I pressed start again and it is making noises, like balls rattling round and the drum is not moving.  Anyone know what the problem is please?

Hi Diane. If washing machine is making a noise like balls rattling around and the drum isn't turning, it must be the pump. If it only makes the noise when it is draining the water, check the pump filter and pump for obstructions. The most likely cause of that kind of noise is something stuck in the pump.
