New washing machine making a noise?

Hi Everyone, 

 

I'm new here so please forgive me, especially if this is normal. I recently got a new washing machine but it seems to be making this buzzing sound and i'm not sure if it is entirely normal or not? I have attached a video link to demonstrate the sound. Please can anyone let me know if i'm just being an idiot or if this is cause for concern.

That sounds horrible. It’s the pump. Drain it out and remove the pump filter to check for obstructions in the pump.

Thanks. It would appear my housemates shirt collar stay was in the pump. Hopefully this hasn't caused any damage.
