Bilbo Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I need to remove the door glass for cleaning around the trim. How is the inner white plastic part secured? One screw near the handle and two near the latch but even with them removed it is not free. I assume it is clicked / latched into place but I have no idea where I have to force it apart. Any ideas? Thanks.
Root Admin Whitegoodshelp Posted October 5, 2021 Root Admin Posted October 5, 2021 Some of these doors are designed to be unrepairable. Some of them have a hidden screw so look out for a hidden screw hole under a sticker for example. I would check on Ransom Spares to see if you can buy the separate parts or not. If you can then obviously it must come apart somehow. But if all you can see is a complete door then the very strong implication is that you cannot take it apart, or at the very least you cannot buy separate parts and must buy the complete door. Bilbo Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 Thanks, Two screws were under stickers as you suggested. There is one tiny hole that might have a latch or something inside but no way to see. Tried twisting / turning / pulling just don't want to force it to breaking point. Nothing on that spares site. I will try Samsung to see if individual components are available. Thanks Whitegoodshelp 1
